How To: Create a Website
Welcome!
This is the first basic tutorial on how to create a website! Follow the steps below to learn how to create a great website!
Step 1: Your Provider
One of the most important things before creating the website is your provider. Some good ones would be Wix, Webstarts, Weebly, or Yola. These will provide you with an account and studia to start you out on creating your site. These links are listed at the bottom of the page.
Step 2: HTML and Beyond
HTML is one of the most important things when it comes to a website. Embedding HTML will help you add media as well as videos, games, forums, hit counters, and even search engines and maps. But to retrieve these, you need to look for them on your media page like Youtube, Addicting Games, or Google.
Step 3: Domains and URLs
When it comes to Domains and URLs, I perfer to keep cheap. Wix and Yola (being flash) require double payment for a domain and custom URL. On average, a GoDaddy or Yahoo domain could cost up to $80.00. Cheap ones cost up to only $11.00.
Step 4: Advertising and Getting Viewers
Now that your site's complete, you might want some viewers. The best was to advertise is to post your site on a popular blog or site. Some people may click upon it and enter your site. To keep track of this, I request foryou to sign up for a web traffic or hit counter program
CONGRATULATIONS! YOUR DONE!!!
Your site's all finished and your getting boat-loads of viewers. Thanks for reading my"Create a Website" tutorial!
